Creating and Sending a Message

The allows you to create and send text messages.

Procedure

1. Click .
2. Click .
3. Enter the recipient number in one of the following ways:
   • Click and select the phone number from the phonebook.
   • Enter the phone number of the recipient directly.
   NOTE:

   The enables you to send a message to multiple recipients, whose numbers need to be separated by a semicolon (;).

4. Enter the content of the text message.
   NOTE:

   The supports long text messages. When the message you compose exceeds the maximum number of characters allowed for one message, it is split into multiple messages before sending. One long message can be split into up to four messages.
