Enabling the DHCP Server

If the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server is enabled, the allocates IP addresses to clients connected to it.

Context

  • After the DHCP server is enabled, enable the function to automatically obtain an IP address and a DNS server address from clients.

Procedure

  1. Choose > > .
  2. In , enter the two last digits of the 's IP address.
  3. Select to enable the DHCP server.
  4. In , enter the last digit of the start IP address and the end IP address.
  5. In , enter a lease time.
  6. Click .
